Sodexo subsidiary acquires Prestige Purchasing

Entegra Procurement Services, a Sodexo subsidiary, has acquired fellow hospitality procurement specialist Prestige Purchasing.

This acquisition is intended to accelerate Entegra’s growth strategy in the UK, reinforcing its presence in the pubs and restaurant segment.

Prestige Purchasing brings a portfolio of clients across the hospitality sector, with a focus on restaurants, pubs and leisure businesses. Entegra believes Prestige’s core offerings – including ‘the Club’ (procurement outsourcing), ‘Optimise’ (consultative supply chain solutions), and ‘Data & Insight Services’ (analytics) – align closely with its own procurement, advisory and digital solutions.

Entegra feels this complementarity will enhance its expertise, particularly in the beverages categories and data insight services.

Prestige Purchasing regularly publishes the Foodservice Price Index alongside NIQ, which tracks food and drink prices in the foodservice sector. Its latest figures showed inflation declined 0.2% in February.

Entegra’s previous acquisitions in the hospitality sector include Beacon Purchasing, which it bought from Interchange and Consort Hotels in 2022.
