Luxury Leaders will support aspiring managers within the luxury hotel and restaurant sector to achieve a Level 4 Hospitality Manager Apprenticeship
Umbrella Training has launched Luxury Leaders, a leadership development apprenticeship programme designed for aspiring managers within the luxury hotel and restaurant sector.
Apprentices will work towards a Level 4 Hospitality Manager Apprenticeship over a 12-month period and receive access to bespoke masterclasses, in-person workshops and personalised coaching schemes from industry experts including Josh Bright, Livvy Wharam and Simon King.
The masterclasses will focus on subjects such as luxury guest engagement, cultural intelligence, emotional leadership and sustainability in luxury and finance.
The programme has already welcomed its first cohort of 15 apprentices from the likes of the Ritz, Iconic Luxury Hotels and Hyatt Regency London following a launch event at the Mandarin Oriental, Hyde Park.
Umbrella Training is currently in discussions with additional partners to oversee future cohorts.
The scheme can be fully funded via the Apprenticeship Levy. Those who need additional support can get in touch with Umbrella Training, who will help with sourcing funding where needed.
Adele Oxberry, founder and chief executive at Umbrella Training, said: “Luxury is about more than just service, it’s about people, stories and moments. This programme represents a new chapter in leadership development for the sector, and by collaborating with some of the most prestigious venues and respected voices in the industry, together we’ve created a programme that truly reflects the values and behaviours that define leadership in a luxury context.
“Working closely on this collaboration provides a really exciting opportunity to grow and nurture exceptional talent in the luxury market and define what this level of hospitality looks and feels like in the future.”
