The Caterer unveils new This Is Hospitality Award for 2026 Cateys

The Caterer is excited to announce the launch of a new award for this year’s Cateys.

The Cateys, in partnership with Square, will present a new This Is Hospitality award to complement The Caterer’s This is Hospitality campaign, launched last week.

The award is open to all hospitality businesses and will recognise a business that has engaged with their community, locally or nationally, through meaningful initiatives, and has showcased how the sector can change people’s lives and bring about positive change.

James Stagg, editor of The Caterer, said: “This year’s Cateys give us the perfect opportunity to recognise a business that has gone the extra mile to engage with their community and showcase the great work that hospitality can do.

“We will be looking for businesses or individuals in hospitality that embody the This is Hospitality award campaign. It could be a project to support a good cause locally or nationally through financial or hands-on contributions, or going above and beyond to care for guests and colleagues.”

“We will seek to recognise examples of initiatives that have made real, positive change in people’s lives or contributed to a cause that itself brings about positive change.”

“And in a first for the Cateys, the winner will be decided by industry vote. So, look out for the shortlist, which will be published in April, along with details of how you can make your choice.”

In what will be an unforgettable evening to honour and celebrate exceptional talent and pioneering businesses in hospitality, the winner will receive their award at the glittering Cateys awards ceremony at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London on Tuesday 7 July.
