The three-AA-rosette Buckinghamshire restaurant is celebrating progression across both front and back of house roles
The three-AA-rosette Greyhound in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, has announced five major promotions across its front and back of house team.
Lauren Gulliford-Brown has been promoted to restaurant manager from assistant manager, after four years in the role. She first joined the Greyhound as junior waiter before progressing into senior waiter and head waiter roles.
Rohit Sharma has been promoted to assistant manager, having previously held senior waiter and head waiter positions, while Natalie Sherriff has been promoted to senior waiter from head waiter, having joined the business in June 2024.
In the kitchen, Nathan Moore has been promoted from demi chef de partie to chef de partie after roughly two years at the Greyhound, and Sam Clyne has been promoted from chef de partie to senior chef de partie, having originally joined as an apprentice commis chef.
Daniel Crump, co-owner of the Greyhound, said: “I am incredibly proud of the whole team. When we opened, our mission was to nurture our people and support their progression. This is just the beginning of the story, and I am excited to see each of them continue to develop in their new roles.”
Co-owner Margriet Vandezande-Crump added: “At the Greyhound, we are more than just a team. We are a family. Everyone supports one another, and that culture underpins our approach to development. These promotions reflect progression based on our team members’ merit, performance and commitment.”
Crump and Vandezande-Crump took on what had previously been an Italian restaurant housed in a Grade II-listed, 14th-century coaching inn back in April 2019 and relaunched it as the Greyhound in Beaconsfield that December.
