A single-tap version of the BeerMatic dispenser has been launched by Hoshizaki. Brookfield Drinks has teamed up with Norfolk-based Woodforde’s Brewery to launch LionHeart cask ale. LionHeart is backed by a £2m investment that includes point of sale support in the form of drip mats, bar runners and posters.

Italian winemaker Zonin1821 has released a new rosé to the UK market. Zìnzula Rosato Salento IGT is a Negroamaro varietal from Zonin1821’s Masseria Altemura estate, named after the nearby Zinzulusa cave on the Puglian coast. It is made from ‘lacrima’ (the juice that drips from the split, fragile skins of the grapes before active pressing), which produces a delicate pink tint and fresh varietal notes, keeping tannins to a minimum. The wine ferments in stainless-steel tanks and stays on the lees for four months before bottling.
