The Caterer launches Hospitality Tech Confex

The Caterer is launching a technology conference to address the impact of technology on the hospitality industry today and in the coming years. 

How can smart technology enhance the guest experience? What tools can be used to drive forward sustainability goals? And what are the disruptive digital innovations and technology trends the industry should be keeping an eye on?

The Caterer’s inaugural Tech Confex – in partnership with RUCKUS Networks, a CommScope Company - will answer these questions and more, at the one-day event designed to inspire technology decision-makers in the hotel industry and empower them with the latest tools to enhance productivity and performance.

Taking place in London on 25 June, the event is aimed at chief information officers, chief technology officers, general managers and operation leaders, and will explore how the latest advancements in technology and digital solutions can drive business performance.

Covering topics including connectivity, sustainability and guest experience, the conference will host headline speakers include Dr Nicola Millard, principal innovation partner at BT, and renowned author, speaker and futurist Amelia Kallman.

There will also be a chance to hear from technology leaders at Compass One, the sector of Compass Group UK&I that brings together healthcare, retail and defence. Ben Dawon, head of E15 business intelligence and Grace Nichols-Singh, social value analyst, will explore how hospitality businesses can turn data into action. 

The Caterer’s  editor James Stagg will also interview the Lore Group’s global head of IT Gavin Allison live on stage to discuss why technology is fundamental to the hotel group’s growth plans.
