Chefs Andrew Sheridan, Caroline Martins and Nathaniel Mortley all had restaurants join the guide’s listings
The Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland has added 18 new restaurants to its online listings.
It marks the guide’s first restaurant release since the Michelin Guide Ceremony 2026 was held in Dublin in February.
The guide updates its recommendations each month based on its inspectors’ travels, with any additions highlighted by a ‘New’ symbol.
It will not be confirmed if any of the restaurants will receive a further star, Bib Gourmand, or other award until the launch of the 2027 guide.
New additions included 2210 by NattyCanCook in London from chef Nathaniel Mortley, who spent time cooking at inmate-run restaurant the Clink at HMP Brixton. The Caribbean diner opened in Herne Hill in October last year and was praised by the guide for its “lively atmosphere” and “carefully cooked produce”.
In Scotland, former Timberyard chef James Murray was recognised for contributing to the “continuously excellent Leith dining scene” with Dogstar, while chef Caroline Martins’ Sampa in Manchester was described as an “engaging experience delivered with pride, passion and personality”.
There was also recognition for Mad Restaurants’ Alta in London’s Soho and chef Andrew Sheridan’s Noted in Chester, which launched in September last year.
