Dinas has been overseeing the luxury Wiltshire property for the past nine years
General manager Sakis Dinas has announced plans to leave Lucknam Park hotel and spa in Wiltshire after nine “truly wonderful” years.
In a post on LinkedIn, he revealed he was stepping down for personal reasons.
He said: “This decision has not been an easy one but it comes at a time where I am most needed to look after my parents, family must come first.
“That said, this is certainly not a final goodbye! I have not yet decided what the next chapter will look like, and there is every chance that I will find my way back to the UK sooner rather than later… For now, I simply want to say thank you and please do stay in touch.”
Dinas studied hospitality management in Switzerland before moving to England to study English.
He spent six years with Hilton in London, where he progressed to food and beverage manager, and from there he moved into the country house hotel market.
He worked for Elite hotels, Red Carnation hotels and Charlton House hotel in Somerset prior to joining Lucknam Park in 2017.
Lucknam Park hotel and spa was bought in 1987 by a joint venture trading as Lucknam Park Hotels Limited and in 1994 it was bought by a European shipping family.
