He was formerly director of operations at the luxury Scottish hotel
Gary Rice has been promoted to hotel general manager at Cameron House on Loch Lomond.
He has over 28 years’ experience in the industry and was most recently director of operations at the luxury Scottish hotel.
Rice will work closely with managing director Will Oakley to oversee both the day-to-day operations of the property, as well as its longer term aims regarding food and beverage, staffing and leisure facilities.
He said: “It’s an honour to step into the role of general manager. I’m focused on leading the talented team to deliver excellence at every level, creating exceptional experiences for every guest and upholding the highest standards of service for which Cameron House is known for.”
Oakley added: “Gary’s promotion is incredibly well-deserved. He has demonstrated unwavering commitment since joining and has helped shape a positive and high-performing culture. I am confident that under his leadership, the hotel will continue to flourish.”
Cameron House hotel features 208 bedrooms including 28 suites, 115 self-catered lodges, a spa, marina and two golf courses, including an 18-hole Championship course.
It is due to welcome a restaurant, Loma by Graeme Cheevers, this spring.
